With a master's degree in counseling psychology from John F. Kennedy University (2006) and specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), I take a collaborative, evidence-based approach to care. I believe in treating the whole person, working closely with individuals' primary care team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive treatment. I am dedicated to supporting residents in our community as they navigate life's challenges. I believe that therapy should be a safe, judgement-free space where individuals feel heard and respected, regardless of their background. In my sessions, I work collaboratively with individuals to harness their internal strengths and motivations, creating practical actionable steps toward the life they want to build. I specialize in helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am passionate about supporting individuals in identifying their own strengths to build resilience and create meaningful change. When I am not at the health center, I find joy being an active member at my church, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. I am passionate about connecting with nature and wildlife, and I also enjoy spending time with my friends and church family.
