Tiffany Woody is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a certified Medical Examiner for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Mrs. Woody has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for MCHP since 2016. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and offering pain relief through steroid and trigger point injections.

Her experience and love for healthcare started in high school where she was in Health Occupations Students of America club. She worked as a registered nurse while she completed undergrad at Lees-McRae College then graduate school at Western Carolina University.  She gained seven years of bedside nursing experience before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. Most of that experience was in cardiovascular intensive care. She feels this experience was instrumental in making her able to provide primary care today.

Outside of work she loves spending as much time as possible with her husband and 3 children. She is also passionate about being an active member in her church and greatly enjoys her roles there. Something interesting about Mrs Woody is she married her high school sweetheart and they were voted Mr and Miss Senior. Before the age of 5 she had also seen the majority of the 50 states by traveling with her dad, who was a truck driver at the time. Her favorite animal is a standard poodle.
